Prof. Schlomo Schneebaum received is MD degree in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Technion, Haifa, Israel, and was trained in General Surgery, Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel-hashomer, Israel, in 1977-1983.

In 1990-1992, he was a Surgery Clinical Fellow at the Ohio State University Hospital, The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Division of Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery, Columbus, Ohio, USA. and continue as an attending. Prof. Schneebaum is active in 18 professional organizations, including the European Society of Surgical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, USA, European Association for Cancer Research, American Medical Association, USA . He has published 100 articles in various peer-reviewed journals and over 140 abstracts.
